Need help Got a Volvo S80 D5 Car runs normally but the moment I go above 1500 rpm there's a weird squealing sound which increases with the rpm Engine sounds fine (revved it in park no issues) but when I'm driving if I increase the speed slowly everything's normal even if I'm doing 100kmph but when I hit gas slightly harder or even normally the squealing starts(kinda sounds like a deflating tyre)

I think the development of cars is gonna stagnate pretty soon. Like you said in the 70s it was people modifying cars for speed and muscle and manufactures listened. In the 80s it was all about big speakers and loud stereos and manufactures listened with Bose sound systems and what not. Now manufactures have nobody to listen to buy there development teams and office people get boring and lazy after a while without direction.
