What I mostly drink to take away the heat is really hot water, idk why but I think the hotness of the water distracts you from the heat. It works for me

I am 13 and eat steak covered in habanero. My opinion is to eat fresh, non toasted bread and it just absolutely gets rid of the fire. ICE WATER ONLY MAKES IT WORSE.

I had a little bit of a coralina reaper sauce at a chili fest once and I drank 3 cans of coke in under a minute. I felt like I was going to die and start seeing my life flash before my eyes. I was crying a lot as well and it took 5 minutes after I drank the coke to get to a barable point.

What I’ve learned about using water, it moves the capsaicin (idk if I spelled that correctly) around in ur mouth, giving temporary relief, then making it feel worse, and that using milk is normally ur best bet if you don’t have anything else

I actually used to have Texas Pete hot sauce on a spicy chicken sandwich back in school and I called it the fire dragon sandwich and I basically had to act like a shark by holding my mouth open slightly and if I held a lighter to my mouth and i felt like I could turn my mouth into a flamethrower it was bad but the pain would subside

So wouldn't the best solution be "rice pudding" like kheer, which has yogurt, sugar, milk and rice? Because yogurt is acidic, so you'd cheat the "lemon juice" effect, it would coat the tongue better, you'd get the milk effect, and then you'd get the soothing sugar effect and then you'd also get some of the rice. Also, kinda surprised, they didn't think about yogurt... acid+milk??? No duh. You can add lemon to that, no curdling and sugar. Kheer is Indian, you'd think they'd know how to cool spice, right???
