about the tax thing, Ohio doesn't have any food tax on stuff specifically sold for consumption, like, road salt is taxable but table salt is not, and prepared meals if made for off premises consumption is non-taxable, and beverages in Ohio have a complicated definition of what is and not classified as food, canned or bottled tea with milk or milk substitute is considered food by Ohio, but if it doesn't have milk or milk substitute it is "non-food", plain coffee/tea? food. soda pop? non-food, they have a chart to help you figure it out actually this has little to do with the video but wanted to spread the knowledge i know for some odd reason, considering i'm a kinda dumb fifteen year old

Me, coming from Germany, was a little triggered when Mat said pumpkin bread or showed pictures of "bread", because some of that actually counts as cake here. While milk bread counts as bread lemon bread already counts as cake. It's interesting to know that there are different types of definition if it comes to what counts as bread and what doesn't.

Really this whole video is just argument of authority. In that "This bread is actually cake because some government court said so". Really all of these food laws are just bullshit copyright laws lobbied by big food brands to keep out competitors.
